Rev. Loraine Taylor accepted the call to preach at age twenty-two. She became a credentialed minister in a sister organization in 1980. She has planted two churches and has served as senior pastor for thirty years. She presently continues as senior pastor of Grace Assembly of God in Catawba, Virginia.
She was elected to the presbytery of the Appalachian Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God in February 2001 and currently serves as one of the two executive presbyters. She has served as general presbyter and continues to help several committees and ministry boards.
She studied at Tomlinson College, Jacksonville Seminary, Liberty University as well as the Assemblies of God Seminary. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling and a Masters in Theology.
She and her husband Willis have resided in Catawba since they were married in 1972. They have three children and four grandchildren.
